Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of glass do you use?

We use quarter inch tempered glass.  While other manufactures may use one-eighth inch, we feel the extra thickness provides better durability, added protection against breakage, and insulation for your greenhouse.

How do you control the temperature?

Our greenhouses have solar powered vents that open when the internal temperature reaches a desired point.  We can also add electrical for radiant heating in the winter months.

Do I need permits to build a greenhouse?

Check with your town’s Building and Zoning Department.  Most towns do not require building permits for small buildings (i.e. < 144 sq ft).  Setback variances may be needed depending on placement.

What sizes do you offer?

Our 12×12 greenhouse is the most popular.  8×8, 10×12, and other custom configurations are also offered.
